A Whale of a Tale

In June of 2013 I was in Newport, Rhode Island on a photoshoot for North Sails and we had a terrific model who was posing next to this magnificent lighthouse. I was lucky that I had a shot just of the structure itself and I always wanted to use it somehow. The whaling ship backdrop is a mural inside a small cottage near Nantucket that was painted around the 1900.
